A few weekends ago, I was invited up to Toronto to check out the Much Music Video Awards. There, I had all access to the event where I was feet away from the biggest music stars in the world – From Bieber to Perry. Click below for a few SHOTS:

Notes: First of all – while I like to limit JDOTshots to professional-quality images, these are all cell phone shots. I wasn’t allowed to bring a detachable lens camera in to the main area. With that said, I felt that the show deserved a post…so here we go.
Second of all – TORONTO. What a great city. I’ll post my thoughts on that in a later post (which will most likely be right above this post)
Third – the MMVA’s. If you don’t already know, Much Music is, essentially, the Canadian version of MTV. While it may not seem like an important event for people in the U.S., artists know that MM is the voice of pop culture up there…so it’s essential to cover the Canadian market by participating in events like these.
While the show, itself, wasn’t exactly my demographic – from the performers to the people in the crowd – it was pretty interesting catching worldwide pop phenom’s like Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen, and more live in concert. I know for a fact that there would have been young ladies that would have killed to be a couple feet from those performers like I was.
