I recently had a chance to to accompany rising British artist James Arthur around NYC for various bits of promotion. You may have heard his single, “Say You Won’t Let Go,” but he has so much more to offer beyond that one song! A few shots below:
Young Grace Vanderwaal and girl group Little Mix took the time to bond over Grace’s puppy and music. Check out a couple of photos from the meeting.
Books for Africa partnered with We Bee Spelling for a very special #GivingTuesday 21+ Spelling Bee Fundraiser at Bowery Electric to support the Library Project. A few shots from the night below:
St. Lucia was the latest artist to headline Uber’s Summer Series concert. As always, they did a great job in a small space with a stripped down set. Some photos below:
After an insane week, I ended it off with a bang. We linked with Declan McKenna for his last show of SXSW and ended with seeing my favorite group of all time – The Roots. Special guests a plenty in a truly memorable day. Click below for just a sampling of what I saw:
Four days in and no signs of slowing! SXSW heated up with performances from Niykee Heaton, Anderson .Paak and more. This was one of my favorite days of the past two years. A few shots below:
By far the busiest day, we ran from place to place to try and catch as much as possible. It included seeing British import Little Simz (by a lucky mistake) to our old friend Dex Kwasi. You’ll want to check out a review of pictures below:
Day 2 was the actual first full day of SXSW Music and it was also one of the most active of the 5 days. We saw everyone from Santigold to Jidenna rock the stage as we attended the MTV Woodies and YouTube’s showcase. Click below for a taste of what we saw:
We started Day 1 of SXSW off by checking out St. Lucia soundcheck at Stubb’s and followed it up with the first show from Lewis Del Mar. Incredible. Ended it back at Stubb’s for St. Lucia. What a way to start. Check out a few shots below:
I wanted to start off the first of a handful of SXSW 2016 galleries with some shots in and around town before we dove in to the performance/artist content. This should give you a feel for what went down in Austin this past year. I’ve also included a scroll-able 360 degree image of 6th street!...
