Notes: I admire the efforts of SoundCTRL to continuously lead the way in recognizing innovation (and also providing that innovation) in the music industry. Led by one of the most creative minds in the industry, Jesse Kirshbaum, they have held events throughout New York City over the years that continue to inspire creativity.
The big names in the room tonight were Scooter Braun (Manager to Justin Bieber, Asher Roth, & more), Steve Stoute, Talib Kweli, and a surprise performance by none other than Slick Rick.
Honorees included Square, Spotify, Snibbe Interactive, and Bandpage.
