After years of hearing about it, I finally attended Hot 97’s infamous Summer Jam festival. Before the main show in the stadium was a pre-show outside. Click for some SHOTS:

Notes: The pre-show was a nice warmup before the actual main event in the studio. Unfortunately, not everyone showed up – or at least, on time. However, it was a relaxed atmosphere that offered free merchandise, refreshments, an MC battle, and some great performances from the likes of Big K.R.I.T. and Kendrick Lamar.
I had to leave at 5:15 to head to the press area, but I caught ASAP Rocky as he was rolling in to the event. That star power is definitely evident as fans swarmed him and his crew.
