Last night Rick Ross hosted an album listening session for the new Maybach Music compilation – “Self Made 2.” Strippers. Bags of Money. Heavy bass. You know you want to click below for a few SHOTS and a recap:

What: Maybach Music Self Made 2 album listening session

Where: Bronx, NY

Venue: Sin City Cabaret

When: June 13, 2012

Who: Drake, DJ Khaled, Gunplay, Joey I.E., Jeff Rosenthal (ItsTheReal), Thomas Agnew (JENESIS Magazine), Sowmya (MTV) – NOT PICTURED: Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Wale, Omarion, French Montana, Busta Rhymes, & many more.

Notes: The setting was a double-edged sword: On one hand, the listening session was held in a strip club. Young ladies exhibiting their talents with a lot of notable figures just hanging out. The negative, though: We were told we couldn’t take pictures and it was tough to actually listen to the album at the album listening session. Can I really be mad about the situation?  Not really.

From what I did heard, the album sounds exactly how you think it would sound – heavy hitting bass combined with those Lex Luger type of beats. “Power Circle” started off the night and set the tone for the entire album. Notables include “The Zenith,” “Fountain of Youth,” and “Black on Black.” I  feel like the album release will be a good one as it will provide a car rattling Summer time soundtrack. Look for the album to drop on June 26th.

Although I wasn’t technically allowed to take pictures, I did snap a few SHOTS. Rick Ross & co. were pretty much in their VIP area with no close access.  I have absolutely no idea why, but Drake, Busta Rhymes and DJ Khaled were separated in their own little [man-made] blocked off area on the main floor – which is why I could only get shots of them. Check them out:
