We had the privilege of experiencing one of the most beautiful race tracks in the world at Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama as we participated in the Porsche Sport Driving School: One-Day Precision Driving Course. Read more about our adventure:

We began the day with a brief classroom session discussing vehicle dynamics, breaking techniques and the driving line. Then it was time for the hands-on exercises including the Skid Pad, Performance Driving Techniques, Autocross and track driving sessions.
The course is taught by Porsche Certified instructors, who have experience in all aspects of the sport – they were all extremely professional coaches and gave direction flawlessly. The cars we piloted: 911 Carrera S, Boxster S, Panamera GTS, Cayman S
To wrap up the day, we took a tour through the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, known for housing Mr. George Barber’s personal vintage motorcycle/car collection, which is said to be the largest of it’s kind in North America and possibly the world.
