Last week I was happy that I finally had the opportunity to check out West Coast-based artist on the rise Sid Sriram. Click below for some shots from his performance:

What: Sid Sriram Show

Where: Lower East Side / NYC

Venue: Rockwood Music Hall

When: November 8, 2012

Who: Sid Sriram

Notes: I first really became intrigued by Sid Sriram’s voice when I heard him featured on The Dean’s List/The Kings Dead’s song, “Elevate.” There’s a hypnotic quality to his voice and overall melody that’s undeniable – a unique thing in a time when singers are a dime a dozen nowadays. I invite you to listen to his catalog of tunes HERE.

The intimate setting at Rockwood was the perfect setup for a vocalist who has passion oozing from his lyrics. Lights down low with his two Boston-based band members providing the soundtrack, Sriram commanded the stage and provided the audience with an emotional performance.

After meeting him and hearing him sing live, I’m confident that Sid Sriram is going places in this industry. It has only begun.

Feel free to hit him up on twitter @sidsriram if you want to reach out.
